My most loyal and only customers came back for round 2 of family pictures ;)! I think we ended up getting a couple with the whole fam looking at the camera, thanks to Tim the prop guy...hahaha. So good to hang out with these guys!

....time for a new post! My brother Ryan does Wedding Videos and recently I had the chance to tag along with him and be the photographer at one of his friend's wedding! It was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. I loved the practice! Here are a few pictures from the day.....

So I love this new application I just discovered....it is called the Poloroid Project and it lets you convert your digitals pic into poloroid -like quality. I love the look of old, retro poloroid film!! It's so fun, the website is http://www.poladroid.net/. Here are a few I tried it out on today.....I can't stop.

My cute friend Hailey got married a couple of months ago and her and her husband Steve wanted to take a few pictures so they'd have one to send out with their first Christmas card! Of course their newest addition, Snoopy, had to join in for the family Christmas card action. So cute. I hope they liked them! On a side note, I can't believe Christmas is only a few days away....how fast has this month gone by?!

A couple of weeks ago I took some shots of Eric and Lara for their Christmas card!! We had so much fun and they great sports with all the random poses I kept coming up with. Does anyone have any cool spots they like to take pictures? I need some ideas! Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving....I just finished an amazing dinner with my family and am having so much fun hanging out with everyone.....can't believe Christmas is right around the corner!

I got to hang out with cute Ethan and Austin the other day since Jen and I wanted to get some pictures in of them before the weather got too cold and all the leaves fell off of the trees. I feel like Ethan looks so grown up in these....why is time flying by so fast?? We really wanted to get some of the two of them together but Austin didn't stop moving/walking/running the entire time...so...we got some cute solo shots. Love my nephews.

That picture pretty much sums up how they were all feeling be the end. But I still like it...definitely captured the moment ;)

Summer Time!

Well as the days of summer are slowly winding down I thought I'd catch up a little bit on everything that has been going on over the last couple of months. Summer is the best and there has been so much to do and because of that it has flown by and now...it's almost Fall! Which I love...it's my favorite season...but I'm not quite ready to leave behind Summer.

The highlight was probably going to lake Powell with a big group of my friends. My friend Easton organized it all and we stayed on a houseboat and spent the week wakeboarding, jet skiing, eating, floating on our rafts and relaxing! It was such a good trip and as always one of my favorite places to be.

One of my best friends, Hailey, got married a couple of weeks ago. We had a bachelorette party the week before and then her wedding the next weekend. I loved spending some time with all the girls from the 80's mansion days...her wedding was beautiful and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. She looked amazing!! I loved being bridesmaid's with my girls....finally...dancing...sparkler jumping shots...advertising the picture books ;)....such a fun night. Congratulations again Hailey!!

And of course my other favorite thing this summer....hanging out with my nephews...love it!

Stars, Stripes and the Beach!

This post is a little late for 4th of July recaps but it was so much fun this year and it's been so long since my last post so I thought I'd put up a couple pictures! We headed down to Newport Beach California for some good times on the beach with some really good friends. It was the best vacation because we had no plan we just relaxed, ate, shopped and watched some amazing fireworks! This summer is going by so fast but I am loving the warm weather and looking forward to more vacations!

A couple weeks ago my talented friend Ty was doing a photo shoot of my friend Whitney and invited me to go along and take some pictures with him since he knows I'm trying to learn a few things about my camera ;). We got some great shots of our cute Whitney! Here's a couple of them....and one of all the girls with our friend Rich....whose creepy mansion we used to take pictures at. The girls and I of course took a ton of random pictures of us being goofy because we think it's fun....and love pictues. Thanks Rich! And thanks for letting me tag along and learn Ty!

Last weekend my family got together for dinner at PF Changs to celebrate my Dad's 60th Birthday! It was so fun to see everyone and hang out for a couple hours....we missed cute Ethan and Austin though. Here's a picture of everyone after dinner. I love my family and am so glad that we all live so close to eachother right now. Happy Birthday Dad!!

So...it's almost the end of March and once again I can't believe how fast time is flying! I have been loving the warm weather lately but was so excited to go to Vegas for a few days to enjoy the even warmer weather! I went down with a few friends from Georgia and we spent the weekend laying by the pool, shopping, eating and catching up on everything!! Perfect Vaca! I came home in time for Easter and spent the day with my family....we had an Easter egg hunt for Ethan and Austin of course.....I love those boys and of course had to take a million pictures of Ethan searching for smarties all over my parents yard....the only candy he likes. It was so much fun to have a few days with good friends and family....thanks guys for a great weekend!

So, it's been a while! These past few months have been so busy and gone by so fast.....too much to catch up for a blog post! But....I will will post a couple things I've been working on the last couple weeks. I got a new camera and decided to take a digital SLR photography class....I've learned a ton already and absolutely love it! The girl who is teaches takes amazing pictures.... check out her blog, nicolehill.blogspot.com. Anyone else want to sign up for a class with me? I want to take photoshop too!

Shout out to my nephews! I'm loving the fact that I have adorable newphews down the street to practice taking pictures of...love them!

Just a couple pictures from the last week or two...went up to Temple Square to see the lights with a group of friends which is one of my favorite things to do during Christmas! I LOVE Christmas lights....I can drive around forever just looking at all the lights people have put up on their houses! Of course one day my house will be the one that has way too many lights....and they might just flash to the tune of your favorite Christmas song ;)!!

I've kind of been slow on the blogging updates lately but I'm back! This month has been so busy...tons going on to get ready for Christmas and I love it! So this past weekend my roommates and I decided to have a Christmas party. It had been way too long since all of our friends got together.....it was a fun excuse to get dressed up and get a little bit more in the Christmas spirit. So many people came that I've known forever and it was so fun to catch up on everything. Thanks girls! Hope we can continue this tradition every year!

Jazz game, Badgers and some great memories

Don't worry that from row 582 section ZZ at the Energy Solutions Arena you can still be a Jazz super fan. I went with a bunch of my friends up to the Jazz game on Saturday night and we had such a good time! We always have so much fun when we go out together and I'm just glad I have those girls to laugh with. Not much else has been going on to blog about...which means I think it's time to start planning my next trip!

October has been such a busy month! I have gone out of town the past two weekends and am kind of ready for a break to catch up on things at home. But of course it's been fun to be gone....just always sad to come home and face reality again on Monday morning :). First I went to Denver w/Jake and his brother and sister in law for a Bronco's game....it's the 2nd year in a row we've gone to see the Bronco's play (his brother loves them) so I'm kind of becoming a fan. There's a lot to do in Denver and we had a great time shopping, relaxing and of course eating some chicken madeira at the Cheesecake factory.

This past weekend I headed down to St. George with my sister, her husband and kids, Jake and his brother, sister in law and their kids. We just had a low key, quick weekend. Went into Vegas for the day to do a little shopping and just hung out with my family and played with my nephews.

Since I'm not dressing up for Halloween this year I still had to do what I could do get in the spirit! So the girls and I hit up Thriller this year up at Kingsbury Hall. It was a great show an so much fun to get everyone together!

Another Birthday, Another Trip!!

Yay! Here is it! Thanks Tor and Krista for the encouragement ;)....I wasn't sure how to get this started but I was starting to feel a little left out of the whole blogging scene so I figured it was finally time. It seems like everyone else has such interesting things to write about and I'm not sure what I'll be able to drum up. But a little weekend birthday trip seemed like a good place to start :). The older I get, the more I'm all about heading out of town for birthday festivities. This year Jake took me to San Diego....it was amazing! Great seafood, beaches and shopping. I was in heaven! And then of course back to Utah for a wondeful dinner at Outback with my friends and a fun get together few days later with my family....love you guys! Thanks for celebrating with me :).
